Rider Rings

We manufacture precision Rider Rings for reciprocating compressors, designed to guide and support the piston while preventing metal-to-metal contact between the piston body and cylinder liner. Rider rings act as load-bearing components, ensuring proper piston alignment and protecting the compressor cylinder from excessive wear. Our rider rings are manufactured from high-performance PTFE materials such as glass-filled PTFE, carbon-filled PTFE, bronze-filled PTFE, and other specialised compounds that provide excellent wear resistance, low friction, and high load-carrying capability. These properties make them ideal for continuous operation in demanding compressor environments. With extensive experience in machining compressor sealing and guiding components, we produce rider rings with accurate dimensions and consistent quality, suitable for both OEM compressor manufacturers and maintenance replacement requirements. We manufacture in multiple design configurations, including: Solid (One-Piece),  Angle Cut, Sarf Cut, Butt Cut, Tangent Cut, Segmented / Multi-Piece, Grooved or Pressure-Relief Rider Rings. Our rider rings are widely used in air compressors, process gas compressors, hydrogen compressors, petrochemical plants, and industrial gas processing systems, where reliable piston guidance and reduced wear are critical for long compressor service life.
